NEXT WALK

Hello Gang,

Our first walk of the New Year, on January 8th, took us back to Fish Creek Park in the south end of the city. The area in and around the historic Ranche House is always a favourite. We had high hopes that the warm temperatures we enjoyed over the holidays had cleared the paths we normally take in the park. Unfortunately, some were still icy so the group had to carefully pick our way through the woods by the creek and cave.

We might have to revisit that area in the spring time when the trails are dry and clear and the cafe is open for Sunday brunch :-)

Apart from some frigid temperatures mid month, we have been enjoying some pretty spectacular winter weather and it appears that these warmer temperatures are going to follow us into February!

Beth, Brenda and Neicey have been checking out venues for our next group walk and found the trails in Griffith Woods Park SW to be clear and open.

You and your special hounds are invited to join us for a walk on Sunday, February 5th at noon. We'll meet in the parking lot at the main entrance to Griffith Woods Park. See enclosed map.
