The temperatures were not quite as warm as we hoped as we assembled for our  Valentine's Day walk but to be out on a day devoted to the celebration of love surrounded by the special humans and hounds in our lives was definitely heart warming if not for fingers, toes and paws :-)

The Bankside area of Fish Creek Park is undergoing some major renovations so we were glad to see that so many found the meeting place and joined the walk that day.

We all thoroughly  enjoyed the company of a sweet 3 month old greyhound puppy named Ginger, who came out with her foster family. If anyone is wanting to welcome a very well behaved pup into their family, Ginger could fit the bill! What a doll. You can see her on www.ncgl.ca

It looks like sunshine and above zero temperatures for our next scheduled walk...yeah! Please join us at noon on Sunday, February 28th as we travel to the mid south end of the city again and into Glenmore Reservoir at Heritage Park.
