Hello Everyone!

It's become a Calgary walking club tradition to spend part of Canada Day walking with our hounds in Edworthy Park. Any one remember the llama being walked on a leash and harness the first year we celebrated there?

Not ones to break with tradition, that's where the group met again on July 1st to celebrate Canada's birthday. We decided to make it an evening walk to beat the heat and to offer those families who aren't able to join us on our regular Sunday morning walks, an opportunity to come out with lots of other greyhounds.

The breeze from the river kept those nasty mosquitoes away...hooray! It was a wonderful end to the holiday. Thanks to Flyer and his family for bringing treats for everyone :-)

Our next walk, on July 18th, falls on the second Sunday of Stampede. Time to dress western! Of course that means humans too :-)

We are walking in Fish Creek park at Bow Valley Ranche at 10 AM. Hope to see you there

Hope you can join us.

Check out the new slide show of the walks on the Photos Page.

Please join us if you can.
